This weekend, Enoch and I packed up and drove South to visit my family. This was our first time to stay overnight away from our apartment, so I decided to pack almost everything that Enoch uses, "just in case." Thankfully we have a minivan with a removable back seat!
Here is our loaded down van. My parents joked with me that I had packed as if I were moving in with them to stay. ;)
While we visited family, Enoch got lots of quality time with the grandparents. He was rocked, played with, and loved on by each of them. We stayed with Mom and Craig the first night of our trip, Dad and Susie the second night, and Mom and Craig again on the third night. I was happy to find that Enoch didn't mind changing scenery so much or sleeping in different places.
Quick shot before dinner because Mom and Craig matched accidentally ;)
Granny Susie rocked Enoch to sleep before bedtime
Papa Steve snuggled Enoch after playing hard
Granny Sandy loved on Enoch during his early morning happy-awake time
Granddad Craig rocked Enoch to sleep while Mommy got ready
As you might notice, rocking was a re-occurring event this weekend! It was a fun trip overall, and now we are home re-adjusting to normal life. More pictures to come soon of Enoch's increased interactions.
