Life lately

Here are some pics of what our life has looked like lately...  we've been busy having fun & being outside a lot & just living life.  A few things not pictured:  Saturday morning guy times (Hugh and Enoch work together while the girls and I hang together), fires on the weekends, naps, sibling fights (those happen daily), bedtime songs, our advent calendar, Karis' eye surgery (I will post about it later, but it did go well), and probably 20 other things that I'm not thinking of right now... like our Thanksgiving meal with friends, which was so fun but has no lasting photographic evidence that it even happened.  That's what memories are for, right?

it was just us girls, which was a lovely, slow-paced park date!

hanging out at Karis' first dentist appointment... at which she was such a BIG girl!!  She didn't even cry & let the hygienist clean all of her teeth

Karis taking a little ride down a runway with one of the sweetest models.  (This was put on by her school, and a lot of the little girls came and modelled holiday scarves.)

That time Enoch wanted me to wear a cow hat in CFA...
(also, the fact that high chairs can roll into bathrooms at chick fil a is the only reason we are able to make it work... Karis is perched in one in this pic, but usually Alaythia is also in one.  Enoch steers one of the high chairs and I steer the other.  It's amazing.)

FFF: Our Pumpkin Activities

Here are some fun ways we enjoyed our pumpkins from the pumpkin patch this Fall.

First, a little bit of painting...

This was Karis' pumpkin... no pics of her painting b/c I was helping her and needed both hands!

And then we also carved another one out, baked the seeds & flesh for eating, and then did a little baking soda & vinegar experiment.  :)
